Brownie – Chocolate Orange Jaffa Cake


The ultimate brownie for the chocolate orange lover, not only chewy and gooey but with an extra orangey bite of jaffa cakes, delicious.


You will also need: 180g Butter & 3 eggs
Preheat your oven to 180C/ 350F/ Gas Mark 4
Line an 8 inch square baking tin.
Heat butter gently in a saucepan and then set aside to cool slightly.
Lightly beat the 3 eggs in a large bowl.
Add the Orange Flavouring in the pipette to the eggs and mix.
Add the contents of the packets and mix.
Finally add the butter and mix well.
Pour the mixture into the baking tin and add the Jaffa cakes, press them into the mixture so they are covered.
Place in the oven for 35-40 minutes.
Do not over bake, to test insert a knife or toothpick- this should have crumbs attached.
After baking, let it cool before turning out and cutting into squares.
Makes approx. 16 chunky squares.

Plain Flour(Wheat)/ Soft Light Brown Sugar/
Caster Sugar/ Cocoa Powder/ Orange Flavouring /
Jaffa Cakes (Milk, Soya, Wheat, Egg)
May also contain Gluten.
